TIME TRAVEL this 4th of July weekend to Historic Downtown Rogers for a LOCAL vacation.
Bring your family and friends to ‘step back into time’ where our buildings on the bricks date back to 1881.
Stroll the bricks to many unique shops like Applegate Drug store, now called The Gathering. Enjoy a pedal-pop handcrafted all natural fruit pop, and admire the old soda fountain while meeting Albert Einstein, the house rabbit.
Tour the Daisy BB Gun museum where gun and history enthusiasts come to see the collection of antique airguns dating to the 1600s.
At the Rogers Historical museum view a replica of the old Rogers first Street, and look through the storefronts to catch a glimpse into the typical businesses during the early years of the city.
Grandma’s attic educates our youngest visitors, allowing kids to experience life as it used to be by playing dress up, 'cooking' at a vintage stove, typing on an antique typewriter and more fun activities.
Monday thru Friday visit the 1919 American La France, the first motorized fire truck of Rogers, at Station #1 Fire Department Museum.
Pick up a lunch and picnic at Lake Atalanta or the Railyard Bike park.
Have fun time traveling…
